Deck the Hull: An Olympia Holiday Tour 

Dates (select date above): December 5, 12, and 19 (all Thursdays) and Friday, December 27

Thursdays: 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM or 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Friday, December 27: 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM or 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Cost: $20 per ticket

Get into the spirit and hear about the traditions, entertainment, and celebrations of festive seasons onboard Olympia, a nineteenth-century cruiser. How does one celebrate the season, especially when you need to balance the realities of being a sailor onboard a U.S. Navy ship (and are separated from your loved ones)? By forging a motley community with the other sailors, of course!

These tours will use copies of original materials from the museum’s collections to connect us with the past and what life was like aboard during the holiday season. Admission for this holiday offering includes a guided tour onboard Olympia and family-friendly activities. Hot chocolate included with your ticket!
